Membership development is vital to the future of any association. The continuous influx of new members and the retention of current members are critical for maintaining the CDBIA’s powerful voice in the homebuilding industry.


Your membership is one of the most valuable resources for building your association. Just as every nail in a home is essential to the development and strength of a building, volunteers who recruit and retain members play a vital role in the growth, development and stability of an association - they are our “Membership Champions.”


This year, we are proud to share our CDBIA family accumulated 360.50 Spike points this year and have an all time high of 6,369.75 spike points!

While membership has been stable, we are still one of the top associations in the state and in the top 10% in size throughout the nation.  We are STILL bigger than Miami, Gainseville, Tallahassee and even Daytona!

You. You are the reason for our strength. We are still mostly small businesses that come together to have one strong voice. This is recognizable throughout the state and even at the National Association of Home Builders, if you call, or contact the home office, they know who you are! They are watching us grow, watching us get stronger, and seeing our community evolve.

Recruiting new members and sharing the value of who we are and what we do is vital to the continued success of our association.  Retaining members who join is just as valuable as bringing in new members.
